Frequently Asked Questions

What size of Trailer Bins can you provide?

Our trailer bins have an area of 3.5m³ of waste material.  A larger size is available upon request.

Will the trailer bin fit in my driveway?

If you are able to get your car down the driveway, the bin can also be easily brought up the driveway. Additionally, we also have Motorised Jockey Wheels to assist with moving the trailer bin around the yard and closer to the waste site.

Will I need council approval to leave the trailer bin in the street/on the footpath?

In most cases, you will not need council approval if the trailer bin is going to  be there for a short period of time. All our bins are registered and can be parked in a street. In case there are council parking  restrictions in any area, you will have to get permission from the  council.

What materials can I put in the trailer bins?

Generally, if you are able to pick up something, you can put it in the trailer bin. However, there are certain exceptions. Please call us on our listed number and tell us what the waste content is. We will then be able to advise you accordingly. The following items cannot be placed in the bin:

  • Poisons or chemicals
  • Paints or liquids
  • Explosive materials

You can place tyres, E-waste and mattresses in the trailer bin for a small additional charge.

How should I load the trailer bin?

For Green waste, the waste should all be cut up into smaller pieces, while  the larger pieces should be placed on top to will compact the load.

It’s best to load all the heavier items first. This will prevent the bins from tipping-over towards you.

Will any of the waste be recycled?

Yes, we are highly-committed to protecting the environment and 90 percent of all waste will be recycled.

What should I do about Asbestos?

Asbestos removal is a specialised area. For proper disposal of asbestos, you are required to contact a licenced asbestos remover or contact a body like the EPA for more information.

Are there any waste materials that will incur an additional cost?

Some waste may incur an additional cost. These items include mattresses, tyres and E-waste. The additional prices, where available, are listed as part of the booking. However, E-waste prices may differ depending on type and weight of the the items.
